Growing List of Vendors & Organizations Leverage Clario API for Seamless Integration
Montreal, Canada – December 1, 2019 – A growing list of third-party healthcare application developers are taking advantage of the ability to integrate with Clario SmartWorklist™ from Intelerad Medical Systems™, a leader in enterprise workflow and medical imaging solutions. A flexible, open application programming interface (API) allows any vendor, Intelerad customer, or research institution to achieve seamless integration with the popular intelligent worklist solution.
To date, more than 50 different third-party applications have been integrated with Clario SmartWorklist – from PACS and diagnostic viewers, to radiologist scheduling software, voice recognition systems and AI algorithms, to Radiology Information Systems (RIS) and Electronic Medical Records (EMR) solutions. Organizations are also integrating solutions by leveraging a generic launching capability. Support for the FHIR standards framework created by HL7 ensures interoperability in a wide variety of contexts.
“The worklist is the backbone of a radiologist’s workflow, and we are committed to maintaining an independent solution,” said Chris Wood, Chief Technology Officer for Intelerad. “By providing an open, flexible, standards-based interface through which it can send, receive and act upon additional meaningful information, Clario SmartWorklist becomes infinitely more intelligent and valuable for our customers”.
Many vendors such as artificial intelligence algorithm developers, specialty viewers, scheduling software vendors or more recently real-time collaboration tools providers like Foxo in Australia are leveraging the Clario SmartWorklist API to integrate the worklist with other critical solutions in the imaging ecosystem.
