Intelerad Medical Systems Incorporated and its affiliates (collectively, “Intelerad”, “we”, “us”) are committed to protecting your privacy. As part of this effort, recording technologies may be used in certain video, online, or telephone calls with members of our workforce. To that effect, we have prepared this policy (“Recording Notice”) to explain how we use these technologies and your choices. All such recordings and Personal Information collected or shared with us will be kept in accordance with and subject to our Privacy Policy and this Recording Notice. “Personal Information” is defined as any information that can be used to identify an individual.
This Recording Notice shall apply to virtual phone and video calls, online web conferences or other communications which Intelerad participates in, hosts, and references this Recording Notice.
Recording technologies may be used by Intelerad for any of the following purposes:
We may also use automated tools, such as machine learning and artificial intelligence (AI), solely for the purposes of analyzing and drawing analytics from call recordings (including automated notetaking, preparation of call summaries, etc.), and to derive insights to improve our sales initiatives.
Recording tools may collect information including audio and video from calls and web conferences. Any information you choose to share during or as part of the recorded phone calls or web conferences may be collected. Nevertheless, you shall always retain your rights over your Personal Information as provided in our Privacy Policy (see section titled “Your rights with regards to your Personal Information”).
Intelerad’s practices regarding use and sharing of data are provided in our Privacy Policy (see section titled “Who has access to your Personal Information?”). Nevertheless, although we only use call recordings for internal purposes, we may share them with Intelerad affiliates and services providers who provide our call recording and analysis tools. However, they will have access to your information only as reasonably necessary to perform services on our behalf. Furthermore, such service providers and affiliates are contractually bound to not disclose or use your information for any other purposes and shall maintain it under strict confidentiality.
In addition to your rights outlined in our Privacy Policy (see section titled “Your rights with regards to your Personal Information”) and applicable privacy legislation, you have the following rights with respect to the recordings:
The lawful basis which we rely for recording calls, using the recordings and processing Personal Information are described in our Privacy Policy (see section titled “The lawful basis for processing your Personal Information”). Before any recording, you will be prompted to either provide your consent by selection the option “Join Recorded Call” or reject the recording by selecting the option “Join Call Without Recording” or informing your call host.
Intelerad’s practices with respect to retention of data and Personal Information are described in our Privacy Policy (see section titled “How Intelerad stores your Personal Information”). For the avoidance of doubt, call recordings and metadata from the call will be retained solely for the minimum necessary time (as allowed and/or required by applicable laws) and shall be securely deleted in accordance with Intelerad’s data deletion policies.
Intelerad and its service providers who provide the call recording and analysis tools may process your information both inside and outside the United States. However, we rely on legally approved mechanisms to transfer data across borders in accordance with applicable legislation. Intelerad’s practices regarding cross-border data transfers are fully described in our Privacy Policy (see sections titled “Transfer of Personal Information across borders” and “EU-US Data Privacy Framework; the UK Extension to the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and the Swiss-US Data Privacy Framework”).
Intelerad reserves the right, at its discretion, to change, modify, add, or remove portions of this Recording Notice at any time. If a change is made, we will post the updated Recording Notice on our site.
