In the days following our return from RSNA, our flagship event, I reflected on how amazing our team is, how dedicated everyone is to the growth and evolution of the company, how talented they are and how lucky Intelerad is to have them.
Today, the Intelerad team is over 440 people strong, worldwide. The majority of our employees (72%) work out of our Montreal head office. We have two other Canadian offices as well. Our Innovation Lab and its five team members are located in the heart of downtown Toronto, Ontario, and we have nine Inteleraiders holding the fort in Calgary, Alberta.
We have a team of 50 in Australia, most of them working out of our brand new Melbourne office. Looking back to our beginnings in Australia, when most of our work and services were done remotely, this is quite an evolution. Our office in the United States is located in Seattle, and our team of 35 (based in Seattle or working remotely across the country) strives to solidify our foothold in this market and continue the integration and development of the Clario SmartWorklist. Finally, we have a United Kingdom office based in Hertfordshire, near London, where six Inteleraiders focus on growing the European market and new geographies.
A few more interesting statistics about the team. We are a relatively young group overall; the average age for Inteleraiders was around 41 years old in 2019. In our midst, we have over 70 support agents to help our clients and over 120 people assigned to R&D initiatives to support innovation and growth. As we continue to grow and successfully deliver new as well as enhanced solutions, this team will continue to grow.
We are quite proud of all our employees, and I’d like to think the feeling is mutual. Why? A few good reasons.
First and foremost, because of the strong corporate beliefs that permeate everything that we do. Here are our four core beliefs explained:

- We actively engage with our customers to foster their success. Our customers are central to our decisions. We grow and scale with them. Our success is their success. We strive to deliver the best solutions to them. Our work is impactful.
- We tackle challenges with creativity and grit. Challenges are our daily fuel. We never give up. Our expertise is undeniable. We make the complex simple. Problem solving stimulates us more than anything.
Underlying these corporate beliefs is a vibrant corporate culture, the true essence of what it means to be an Inteleraider. While we may sometimes lose track of the big picture, get lost in the external noise or the daily grind, a strong culture such as ours is what unites us and motivates us to keep going, through thick and thin. Our culture guides every decision we make, independently of their impact, and it gives us purpose. Because at the end of the day, we all make a difference and we all play a role in the success of this company.
Our corporate culture translates into a fantastic work atmosphere and inspiring initiatives. There are multiple opportunities for continued learning and the sharing of best practices. For example, we have great monthly lunch and learns, guest speakers showing our solutions in action at quarterly town halls, regular informal discussions over coffee with our executives to chat about a variety of topics. The Intelerad Skwäd, our dynamic employee involvement committee, organizes a plethora of social, wellness and community-focused activities. Not to mention, we brew our own beer, the InteleRed!

I would like to end this post with a thought for our Australian colleagues, partners, customers and their patients, as bush fires continue to spread across the land and wreak havoc in communities. I know that many of our Melbourne colleagues have been giving blood to compensate for the closed donation centers in the New South Wales and Queensland areas, which normally represent half of the country’s blood supply. Intelerad has donated to the Australian Red Cross and we have encouraged all our employees to do the same. Our hearts are with everyone in Australia.
