Robert Petrocelli

Robert Petrocelli has over 30 years of experience deeply rooted in medical image management, technology innovation, and leadership. He is committed to optimizing workflow efficiencies through better and innovative technology.  

Bob joins Intelerad following his role as Chief Technology Officer of Datto, the leading global provider of cloud-based software and security solutions, where he transformed the company from a startup to a public tech player. He founded cardiac PACS pioneer Heartlab, which he successfully ran for over 10 years. Inspired by the emerging strategic importance of data storage to the medical community, Bob later founded GreenBytes, a storage optimization company focused on hyper efficient data reduction using novel data deduplication technology. In 2014, GreenBytes was acquired by Oracle, where he then focused on storage performance for Oracle cloud and notable F500 companies. Bob founded his first company while a PhD candidate in Computer Science from Brown University. He holds a master’s degree in Computer Science and bachelor’s degree in Physics from the University of Rhode Island.
